I decided to do a few calculations on routing performance and it seems that only the high end routerboards like the CCR series are much much cheaper than other vendors.

I know routerOS isnt a consumer router but more and more routerboards are being used at home and offices and same with other vendors like ubnt. It would be interesting to have an L3 price performance chart such as the one at http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/tools/charts/router/
Or at least L3 performance per dollar.

On the high end the CCRs routerboards are many times cheaper even compared to anything that tp-link produces while still being a much better router. I wish mikrotik would also add 2-way routing performances as well because i find it difficult searching for proper switches and routers that actually fir the role i need. I would expect to use a routerboard for both simultaneous downloads and uploads.

It also seems that many consumer brands maintain a particular price/performance ratio.
