2 mPCI lte modems on rb953gs-5hnt

Tue Apr 21, 2015 9:49 am

Hello,

I'm having trouble using 2 mPCI Sierra 7710 LTE modems. 1 modem is working properly, and the second is not responding. The system appeared 1 lte interface, and the second modem when trying to get information about the network displays an error - "Modem didn't responding". RouterOS 6.18

How can i fix it?

Hi tubus!

The problem:
[admin@MikroTik] > /interface lte print
Flags: X - disabled, R - running
 0 X name="lte1" mtu=1500 mac-address=82:26:30:13:01:07 modem-init="ATDT"
      network-mode=auto authentication=chap

[admin@MikroTik] > /system routerboard usb print
  type: USB-type-A
ITS SOLVED!
[admin@MikroTik] > /system routerboard usb set type=mini-PCIe
[admin@MikroTik] > /interface lte print
Flags: X - disabled, R - running
 0 X name="lte1" mtu=1500 mac-address=82:26:30:13:01:07 modem-init="ATDT"
      network-mode=auto authentication=chap

 1 name="lte2" mtu=1500 mac-address=36:A3:1B:FF:02:07 network-mode=auto
      authentication=chap

Did you put the cards into slots correctly? Did you wrap screws in the slots?
