Hello folks,
Looking at Mikrotik SFP Module compatibility table (http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/MikroTik_ ... lity_table) I see that the RB260GS and S+85DLC03D are compatible, although the RB260GS is equipped only with an SFP cage, not a SFP+ one.
Is this a glitch or are they truly compatible?
I will have a CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+PC at the other end, equipped with another S+85DLC03D in the SFP plus cage.
Do you now if, with the right fibre (Multimode duplex OM4, 50/125) between the CCR1009 and the RB260GS:
- I will get 10Gb/s? (One can always dream...)
- I will get 1Gb/s? (more probably)
- I will have wasted a lot of money because it will simply not work?
(Note: The goal is ultimately to replace the RB260GS by a 10Gb/s capable routerBOARD, like another CCR1009 or something, but I simply don't have that kind of money right now, hence the question above).
Any inputs appreciated!
Thanks,
Sylvain.
