I'm going to need USB for a LTE modem for a deployment and seeing that the RB750UP and the PowerBOX have the same form factor I popped open the PowerBOX to see if it has a USB connector inside. The board is stencilled for a USB A connector and there are traces to it. Does it just need a connector soldered in or some other mod?
Unfortunately there aren't many choices for USB support. The RB750UP is OK but it's only a 400MHz box and I'd prefer the 650MHz of the PowerBOX (it's going top need to support OpenVPN). The next step up is the $199 RB493G and his USB doesn't even provide power.
