the whole lot of sxt lite 5 unable to connect on ethernet only on windows

Hi,
I just got a whole lot of sxt lite 5 returned because they all were unable to connect with ethernet to pc. Strangely all the sxt's were able to connect with ethernet on linux but on windows none of them connected. They all have 5.26 version installed. Upgraded to 6.30.4 but without any results. Did everything tweaking the ether settings but all failed.

This looks more to be a problem of windows and their network / firewall / antivirus settings.

does firewall/antivirus has something to do with physical connectivity of lan card ?

It depends... they can do whatever they do. Of course you can have some network setting tool provided by the computer manufacturer that could do strange things. Otherwise, how do you explain to yourself what you see - with linux it is fine and with windows not? Maybe you have speed negotiation problem...

already explained. tweaked ether of both sxt and windows
not all are giving problems. I purchased 100 pcs few of them are giving problem

We have had problems with Acers+Windows8 and 951G-2HnD as AP.
The solution was to set 20MHz channel in 951s...the problem is still inside windows drivers...it was easier to change channel settings than fight Windows.

i'm talking about wired ethernet. Sxt lites have level 3 licence so cannot be used as ap.

I know...but maybe your problem is just matter of particular lan card or driver version....
