Hi, I am trying a simple hotspot using RB 951Ui-2HnD with latest firmware 6.31. I am testing with 2 Android phones. One is version 5 and another one is version 4. I am using the built in wifi in the mikrotik. The problem that i faced with android version 5 is that when i turn off my phone wifi, then i turn it on again, it will automatically connect to the mikrotik hotspot then suddenly it will disconnected me right away. i will be connected if i connect manually. this issue doesnt happen to my android version 4. Anyone know what is the issue?

If anything is wrong it seems to be with your Android phone not Mikrotik router. I suggest you to try with other hotspots available in your area and see if same thing happens.

Do you have special characters in the SSID?
Equal _- etc.
Many devices can't handle these characters.
Maby not be the solution but worth a try.

Hi plisken, I didnt set any security to my wifi. It is open. Ive tried on several mikrotik and same thing happen on the problematic devices.

But about the name that the accesspoint employment.
In some cases it's going wrong if you're use characters in the SSID like _-/etc.

Oh sorry..yes my SSID doesnt have any special characters..only alphabets

Try with latest RouterOS release candidate please.
If that not helps downgrade with RouterOs 6.27
