Hotspot Detecting MACs inside of client Network and registering as hosts

Sat Dec 12, 2015 11:56 am

Hi all,

I Have the following set up. AP= (Basebox5) NV2- AP Bridge. Client (SXT) Station with simple Masquerade NAT to client network - All ROS versions

I have to add a rule in the AP Hotspot IP bindings table to block the IP address range on the client SXT Lan side (192.168.0.0/24) otherwise I get multiple Hosts appearing binding to the client Lan address range

The SXTs are allocated WAN ip address´s by DHCP server in the AP

Anybody know of a way I can stop this happening? I am guessing it is related to the Nat mechanism in the client SXT.

Mos probably is due to the station mode used at the client SXT. See http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Wi ... tion_Modes

Are wlan1 and ether1 interfaces bridged on client SXTs? Have you tried wireless mode = station?

Client sxt are simple routers with nat not bridged. Wireless mode is Station
