Calculate Nv2 link quality on low traffic links

Thu Aug 18, 2016 1:49 pm

Hi,

We would like to monitor link quality using RouterOS API on Nv2 links and was hoping to check CCQ but noticed that for low thru-put links CCQ drops while other factors stay the same.

Is there another property that will be a good indicator or is a calculation of other properties the way to do it.

Best regards
Hugo

Always force MCS rates with NV2, as soon as the NV2 clients use data, CCQ goes right up. And because you use forced MCS rates it will NOT go down (unless you have interference or fresnel issues).

Best regards,
