I have a PTMP setup between several Groove 52HPN (station-bridge) and a level 4 GrooveA 52HPn (Bridge AP)

I'm using the latest stable release of router OS on all. I'm using nv2.

I wish to keep the data rate to 12Mbps or less.

In winbox in wan setting data rates tab, I checked "configured" and deselected the higher data rates. Leaving 12Mbps as the highest rate available.

Apparently this doesn't do what I thought it did. I made this change on both AP and clients and when they reconnected they gradually (low traffic network) crept back up to 54 or 72Mbps.

I also tried the setting in winbox on the wireless setup tab that says max data rate for AP and for Clients in bps. I tried setting that to 10k and again, data rates crept back up...

Is there a way of doing this?
