have not posted on the forum for a while but check in now and then. Have a question that may seem trivial to others. Lets say you have 3 clients connected to an AP. Is the "P Throughput" shared by all those connected or the full amount is available for each client for a short period of time? Or it depends on the Wireless protocol? I no wireless protocol is specified, what happens? Pls advise.

"P Throughput" means theoretical throughput from AP to client
Lets put this as Example: For instance you do btest and you get 30mbit throughput from AP to your 3 clients one at the time, this does not mean your AP can give 90mbits of throughput 3x30mbits
on each client in the same time, but theoretically this does not mean you get 30mbits total shared by 3 clients, 10Mbits on each it may be 15Mbit or 17Mbits it may be more but is some cases it may be less. This is very complex question and no one can give you strait answer, simply it depends from a lot of factors. You just have to try it.
For P2MP use nv2 or try them all and see what is best for you.

Thanks for the response. So it is shared, but not simply evenly by the amount of clients connected. I guess it is safe to say that if you were to limit each client to a portion of the total, ie, the sum used by all connected client must be less than or equal to the "P Throughput."

All the earlier problems with NV2 now resolved?
