VLAN on wireless and RoutersOS

Tue Feb 21, 2017 11:11 am

Hey everyone

im used to equipment from Motorola and proxim and have now installed a site to site link from Mikrotik with RouterOS fw. (6.35.4).

I have procurve/arubaos switches at both end of the site-to-site link with VLAN 1, 207 and 10 defined. The VLAN 1 are going untagged, 10 and 207 tagged.
VLAN 1 is ok, but no traffic (dhcp) and so one are getting passed on the other two VLANs.

Do i need to tell the link something about this ? The link mode is Server/AP

Thanks.

I don't think WiFi can carry VLAN tags. You need to make a Virtual AP for each VLAN: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:VLANs_on_Wireless

You would normally configure you wireless link in wds mode. Below is link to similar topic
