i just ended up reseting the router
By doing what all Microsoft conditioned people do, you lost the information that would really really help.

I wish people would not just reboot.

Rebooting is Microsoft Heritage.

Linux does not need it - Ever - unless there is a Software bug (which can, and does get fixed) or the Hardware is broken.

Well, if rebooting worked, its most likely a software or firmare issue, although it could *still* be down to hardware.

That's the big problem with Pressure - it is fixed now by the reboot, but it will most likely happen again in the future.

Maybe you can get to it next time, and look in the logs to see if you got any info.
Taking a backup/supout is also a good thing to do - while it is 'broken'.

If you really cannot afford the time, try setting up a ping watchdog and clicking on 'auto supout' so if it fails again, it will reboot itself (saving you the time/downtime) and also create a supout file for MT to look at.

Rebooting basically destroys a lot of the clues that would help find the cause.

I have had similar experiences with RB433 for which I could not find an explanation or solution. I ended up pulling down all my RB433s and replacing them with RB411U with L4 license. Basically, I could get far better signal from RB411 using same pigtail, radio card and antenna than I would with RB433. Can anyone explain why this is so?

Without seeing any data it is hard to say.

Th Usual Suspect is the Power supply - every time.

Can MT throw some light on this matter as I have written off using RB433 for reasons above? I have used the same 24V power supply, same everything but for the routerboard for my comparisons.
