SXT - Speed Issue

Mon Mar 28, 2011 12:27 am

I have two SXT's linked together about 2KM apart. I have upload two seperate images from these units;

The problem I am having is as follows; If I leave the SXT's on default speed selection I get a connection of 243Mb/65Mb with a 148000/55000 P-Throughput and a decent CCQ (90's). The DB rating on both connections are in the low 60's. The 65MB never increases no matter what freq or even at 100% CCQ

If I ratelimit the SXT's as per the second image uploaded, I get a 150MB/150MB Connection with similar CCQ and DB rating as above. As soon as I unlock one more speed rate the RX drops from 150Mb to 65Mb.

Why would the SXT drop one link to 65MB ?

Any Ideas on this? Help would be greatly Appreciated

Ash

the data rate will go down if there is no need for transferring a lot of data.

The Issue remain constant, Even with a Bandwidth Test running. It will never Unlock over 65Mb with default rates enabled.

factors to recheck:

antenna alligntment on both side
tx power
make sure to choose right "empty" frequency

thats all :))

Can you provide your settings to achieve the 150/150 rates? I'd very much like to duplicate this issue. Please be as specific as possible (what protocol your using, etc.). ... and what interface are you programing your SXTs with (Winbox, ssh, etc)?

Thanks!

i doubt so much to get TCP data transfer 150Mbps / 150Mbps (TX/RX) ..
since in the other topic i already post, i only got 70-80Mbps single way (TX only) of TCP data streams
