How to configure a ip tunnel

Sat Mar 24, 2012 4:15 pm

Hi all,

I am trying to create an ip 2 ip tunnel between 2 mikrotik devices linking through a common point onto the Internet. Both routers have a pppoe account to allow for internet connectivity but I want to connect the two without going through that pppoe connection. That's why I assumed that a ip tunnel would be the best way to go. This is how it looks, on one side there is an RB133 that is connecting to a 433 and the other side is a 411 connecting to the same 433. I just can't get it to push any data through. Please can someone help with a step by step? The 133 has an internal ip range of 192.168.1.0/24 and the 411 has an ip range of 192.168.100.0/24 and the 433 has an ip range of 10.97.3.0/24 on the card both routers are connected to.
