RB911 Snooper does not show SSID

Fri Dec 27, 2013 10:12 pm

I have had several instances where RB911 scan will show not AP to connect to.
If I change to Snooper, I see lots of active channels, but no MAC Address nor SSID.
I know there are SSIDs out there because after a while in operational mode, the unit
will connect to the AP with the pre-configured SSID.
Why does scan not show the AP?
Why does Snooper not show the SSID?

it is possible that few of those APs uses hide-ssid function.

I think we figured this out today.
If we setup a board as the AP with 10 MHz channels all is fine.
If we then change to 20MHz channels or one of the variants, but the channel originally selected is not supported in this mode, funny things happen.
We may need to do some more testing, but setting up 5795MHz as the frequency and then changing to 20/40 above, seems to have been our problem.
