Need Help in My First PTP Link

Hello Everyone,

I am starting WISP in my local area,I want to put my first PTP link through wireless,I am newbie at mikrotik and wireless networking.,So please suggest me device for PTP link and setting to use in it,I mean protocol and anything other.The distance is 9 KM between both area through air.

Should I use RBSXTG-5PHND.

Hello,

can I suggest you have a look at two links below.

The first link will give you all sorts of good path profile info. The second link allows you to choose different mikrotik units and calculates expected data rates.

9km is a reasonable distance so don't expect too much.
