how did install the ether driver to ROS?

now, we install ROS 5.26 in X86 cpu.
ROS 5.26 can found the ether, but after setup IP-address, ether interface still no running/active.
the cpu: x86 300MHz

What type of Ethernet card is it? Are you sure it is enabled? Can you post a screen shot?

there haven't the ethernet card. the CPU VORTEX 86EX have the ether interface.
