PPPoE Very Slow Browsing

Wed Apr 02, 2014 10:43 am

After the configuration of PPPoE with User Manager I create two user accounts, 1st one (A) in MikroTik PPPoE Secrets and 2nd one (B) in User Manager.

I have two CPEs and I configured both accounts on each CPE. Through CPE account A I can normally browse the internet but through CPE account B I am unable to browse the internet and ping to 8.8.8.8 jumps to 3000+ ms.

I am not sure either it is MTU/MRU or the Firewall Rules issue. I am using 1492 in MTU/MRU and both on CPE and MikroTik and I configured MRRU to 1600

Can anyone help me to solve this PPPoE problem?

I suggest 1480 for MTU and MRU on PPPoE, with MRRU 1614, ON BOTH server and client.

MTU/MRU 1492 is too high.

Thank you for your reply, I got the solution problem was with Tx/Rx settings.
