Hi,
Have a large network with many Accesspoints based on Groove52's - all in a "star" topology ending in a central NAT router.
I would like to make a "per connection fair share" on every accesspoint to let the users share whatever bandwidth the radio may provide. For now I just limit the access to ensure that no one user steal all the bandwidth so no other users may have a decent access. Any ideas on how to do this easily?
I have attached a schematic drawing to illustrate further.
As you see, I would love to share the available (approx.) 25/25 that seem to be the upper limit a Groove52 can provide in AP bridge mode to laptops, Pod's and smartphones (rather poor in my opinion btw.) - Most simple config using b/g/n (HT chain 0, 24/40MHz above/below) with ether and Wireless interfaces in a bridge allowing fast path, no STP or firewall rules applied.
The Sext 5GHz links perform fantastic with same bridged interface setup (300/300 link BW-test UDP >200/200, TCP >100/100)
All units is now upgraded to latest 6.12
I wonder why the Groove perform so poorly?
