receive level

hi, can anyone tell me what is the good RSL value for a ptp link?? is there any difference in 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz RSL value??

Someone may correct me, but, if your SNR is relative to around -65 to -70, you should have a clean signal. There are other factors to this, but generally speaking you dont want the link to hot either.

okay, but if i got a -30 to -40 db receive level. how about this??

mute down the power. At least to -50/60. What is your noise level?

I think -60-70 dBm is the perfect signal strenght, and the SNR is 30-40 dB.
