this is my first message, so please be patient if I'm asking something obvious.
I'm experiencing a strange behaviour with an RB951; it's used as an Access Point serving about 10-12 clients using 802.11g and 802.11n channels.
G-only clients sometime experience the "extensive data loss" disconnection issue. Not a big problem because if I manually force the client to re-associate with access point by turning off/on its radio, it works normally again.
However in some situation, which I cannot replicate reliably, something strange happens; in AP logs I can see "client connected" message, but no data flow toward the client device so communication with it is impossible. If I turn off the client device and turn it on again, on AP I can see "client deassociated"/"client connected" messages, but not data flows. Note that client device is configured with static IP address and claims WiFi is connected, but it cannot reach anything.
The only way I've found to restore regular traffic flow is to use command
Code: Select all
/interface wireless wlan1 registration-list reset X
After that, everything started working correctly.
What can it be ?
Thank you for your help,
Luca
P.S: I forgot to say that RouterOS Version is 6.13
