802.11AN connected to 802.11ac

Sat Aug 30, 2014 1:04 pm

Hi there,

I'm looking to move all my backhaul from 802.11AN to the new 802.11ac. Is it possible to use a 802.11AN AP in order to connect a 802.11ac station?

Thanks for your answer. I'm excited about this new standard as I want to dismiss all Ubiquiti backhauls.

Do not expect too much benefit form AC, it only convert 5GHz unoverlapped channels on all overlapped channels like 2,4GHz

If you are the only one using that in the area, can work, but if some operators are near you, the AC used with more channel than "n" for jusify the passage, you obtain only interferencies...
