Hello anyone tried to buy a license to 6 AR98xx use a different channel width than 5, 10, 20, 40, 80 MHz. My question is whether the driver for the AR9888 allows the same set of channels as AR92xx. Thank you.

I am having trouble when trying to set channels width of 5 and 10mhz on NetMetal5 (A9882 chipset). I can only set channel widths of 20, 40 and 80 Mhz (a/n/ac, n/ac, ac).

The same problem here, i cannot set channel 5MHz or 10MHz on
Wireless (Atheros AR9888)
of a 921UAGS-5SHPacD
running RouterOS v6.26 with Firmware 3.22 (incl wireless FP)

On the other hand i can set 5MHz or 10MHz channel width on
Wireless (Atheros AR9300)
of a 912UAG-5HPnD
running RouterOS v6.26 with Firmware 3.22 (incl wireless FP)


do you know why this is not supported when i press to apply 5 or 10 MHz says:

"couldn't change interface <wlan1> - bad band and/or channel, see ' wireless info ' for supported channels (6)

Is this HW or SW limitation? Why Ubi support it then?

In our AC radio datasheets it is mentioned that it supports 20/40/80mhz channel width.

Sorry, but for AR92xx was the same: in official datasheets where only information about 20/40MHz modes. So maybe it's possible?
