Multiple APs with multiple VAPs and multiple VLANs

Sat Sep 27, 2014 2:06 am

Hello,

I have 3 RB951G-2HnD. The first one is used as the Router/Gateway. Device 2 and 3 are used as an AP in different rooms.

Now I want to have 2 diefferent Wifis f.e. "HOME" and "GUEST" with a VLAN for the GUEST Network.

The config on the Gateway device, where the DNS and the DHCPs are located, everything works fine... but how can I realize that the Clients from AP1 + AP2, connected to the VAP "GUEST" will also get there IPs from the VLAN DHCP from the Gateway?

The APs are connected with their ether1 to the switched gateway ports. I dont know how to mark the different VAPs with the VLAN ID and send it over the ether1 port marked to the gateway device???

Hope there is someone who understand my problem and knows a solution...

Thanks in advance
