Automatic change to best frequency

Tue Oct 07, 2014 11:39 am

Hi folks.

I have several places (ports) with a very dirty spectrum. The real problem is that I can get noise suddenly and for 2-3 hours but after that it goes away.

So the idea of switching on/off wireless interface by scheduler does not work :(

Any recommendations to monitor signal quality and changing frequency automatically ?
(btw Ubnt has airselect feature that works well).

MikroTik also has that feature. You can set the AP to Freq=auto and/or use DFS mode.

AFAIK Freq=auto works only once. No thresholds to monitor.
