I am new to Microtik and RouterOS.

I want to use my 912UAG-2HPnD firmware 3.17 and RouterOS version 5.26 as basic wireless access point. I am using webfig.

Currently, my firewall is a separate appliance (not a Mikrotik device) that provides NAT and DHCP. In my firewall, I have setup 2 reservations for both MAC's of the WAP: 192.168.5.10 and 192.168.5.11.

Ether1 is connected to my switch that hangs off my firewall. I can ping my workstation from my WAP, my wap from my workstation, my firewall from my workstation, but not my firewall from my wap. My WAP is getting an IP address from my firewall and the wap is showing the correct gateway.

Ether1 needs to be LAN instead of WAN. Shouldnt the WLAN be bridging traffic to the LAN? All the wireless devices should get their IP addresses from the firewall appliance. WPA2

What am I doing wrong?
