Lilttle help with signal strenght values

Tue Dec 16, 2014 8:03 pm

Hello fellows.

Im wondering if anyone could give me a little help understanding this values, I have a mikrotik 2011 UiAS-2HnD with an external antenna for signal strength.

The problem Im having right now, is that every few hours bandwidth from host to server, server to host and NAS's are very slow.

I've packet loss and high latencies to the mikrotik (only via wireless)

I've created a Virtual AP from the root wireless interface, to have better administration of it but I'm not sure if the root-wless setup is ok with this configuration.
 0 name="Root_WLESS" mtu=1500 mac-address=4C:5E:0C:40:36:C3 arp=enabled
      interface-type=Atheros AR9300 mode=ap-bridge ssid="" frequency=auto
      band=2ghz-b/g/n channel-width=20mhz scan-list=default
      wireless-protocol=any wds-mode=disabled wds-default-bridge=none
      wds-ignore-ssid=no bridge-mode=disabled default-authentication=yes
      default-forwarding=yes default-ap-tx-limit=0 default-client-tx-limit=0
      hide-ssid=yes security-profile=default compression=no

 1 R name="wnet_corpo" mtu=1500 mac-address=4E:5E:0C:40:36:C3 arp=enabled
      interface-type=virtual-AP master-interface=Root_WLESS ssid="ISUSA_corp"
      wds-mode=disabled wds-default-bridge=none wds-ignore-ssid=no
      bridge-mode=enabled default-authentication=yes default-forwarding=no
      default-ap-tx-limit=0 default-client-tx-limit=0 hide-ssid=no
      security-profile=corpo_mac_auth
Thanks for any tip you could give me.
