2x Groove 52HPn Bridge

Fri Jan 09, 2015 7:29 pm

Hello, I have set up transparent bridge with 2x Groove 52HPn Mikrotiks, ping between them is great i get aprox. 5ms ping without any timeouts at all, but when PC on my 2nd Mikrotik pulls any data or goes to any website pings get aprox. 400 and I get a lot of timeouts. Any help would be appreciated.Just to get clear Mikrotik1 is in office network where is my ISP router and acts like "Server" and mikrotik2 is at my home where is no internet at all and I would get internet from mikrotik1, I do get internet but as I said I get big ping and timeout all the time. I will post info about them both below :

Mikrotik 1 : LAN IP 192.168.0.131, dhcp server off, wireless bridge mode, chanel width 20mhz, freq 2452Mhz ,tx power all rates fixed 30dBm.

Mikrotik 2 : LAN IP 192.168.0.133, dhcp server off, wireless station bridge mode, chanel width 20mhz, freq 2452Mhz, tx power all rates fixed 30dBm

In attachments are more details for wireless that are same on both devices. Thanks in advance :)

A picture with the wireless status would help
Try:
-Nv2 instead of nstreme
-you should use 5ghz antennas because use of 2.4ghz is not a good ideea
-switch to 40Mhz

I am not able to switch to 5ghz antennas as both antennas are on roof of building and I cant get there right now because everything is frozen and slippery as its winter. Here are pictures of wireless status from both mikrotiks. Thanks for helping me out :)

Maybe alignent problem. Anyway try to switch to nv2 or nstreme.
Also power must be Default not 30dbm fixed.
