Hello. I am configuring the environment described in wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Wireless_WDS_Mesh. The main (Internet connected) router is a 433 and the remotes are two 411s.
Clients are not able to get an internet connection when they connect to one of the remotes. This is because the clients do not get an IP address. As soon as the remote is powered down, and only the main remains, the client gets an IP and can access the Internet. All three routers are able to see each other as neighbors.
Do each of the routers (main and remotes) need to run a DHCP server? Does the configuration described above in the wiki assume that each of the remotes was initially a functional hotspot? I am in sore need of a clue. Thanks.
