802.11G Vs N

Wed May 06, 2015 9:13 pm

Running 802.11G with one antenna connector to n-type and then to omni. Chain 0 is selected

At the moment I have it set to 802.11G would Chaning to 802.11N and also enabling chain1 be of any benfit or does it only work if your runing a dual pol antennas on both sides?

If you change to N you can achieve 150Mbit/sec link speed with 1*1 MIMO
Sure the other side needs to support N standard.

If you use dual polarization antennas on both sides you can achieve 300Mbit/sec link speed with 2*2 MIMO
