SNMP - speed chart, incorrect values

Tue Mar 01, 2016 1:58 am

Hi All,

I'm trying to create speed charts for uplink bridge of Mikrotik RB 3011 (with 6.34.1 OS) using Dude 4.0b3. I'm using two OIDs/formulas to get these readings:

rate(diff32(oid_raw("1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.13", 5, 5, "x.x.x.x", "community"))*8)
rate(diff32(oid_raw("1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16.13", 5, 5, "x.x.x.x", "community"))*8)

So it is same way as it was already mentioned few times on this forum.

Generally all works fine and but from time to time I'm getting peaks with fake values like 3 or 6gbit/s, what doesn't really make sense as I'm using only single physical interface and uplink has got about 300Mb of capacity. I have got 5s interval configured and 3d "raw value keep time".

Besides that I have got similar issues with probing CPU usage using "rate(diff32(oid_raw("1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.11.52.0", 5, 5, "x.x.x.x", "community"" , generally all is fine but from time to time chart shows 200%.

Can someone please advise how to fix that ? I looked for similar posts/issues but couldn't find any.

Thanks,
Artur

.1 had a bug. Upgrade to .2. It fixed the problem. Check the change log.
