Can you make "calls" to the Dude from outside programs (like a CRM with an API) that can add/modify Dude data and run scripts that can manage client radios, such as "turning them off" via shutting down an interface or masquerading? Or is a Dude API required for that?

I would like to be able to click a button on a CRM web page and turn a customer off/on, adjust their speed, update the Dude if they get moved to another location, etc. Is that possible, and, if so, what processes/programs are used to make it happen?
