Multiple Dude instances running the same IP?

Mon Jul 26, 2010 8:15 pm

Hello,

I'm trying to run 2 or more dude server instances over the same pc, it only has one IP. Someone knows how do it?

Thank you for your answer.

I have successfully setup The Dude on a Windows 7 computer, but I'd also like to run the software on another computer in our network (in case the current computer that's running the software fails).

Question 1: Can I run the software on Windows Server 2008? Reason I ask is because I tried to do a fresh install on a freshly built Server 2008 box, but I could never get The Dude server to connect (kept getting a "connection failed 10061" error message).

Question 2: Is is possible to run two different instances of the software on two different computers on our domain network? Since I haven't been successful at attempting it, I just wanted to make sure it's possible.
