Hi i have installed The Dude on my dream Linux (debian based xface) in wine all went without hitch

BUT when i open it says "not Connected" the local server tab shows green and when i open this it claim "server running"

any ideas what to try? where to look?

what ver dude are you running ? the 4.0beta2 requires you to connect to 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost I believe...

Yeah but to be certain just connect to the real IP address of the box even when connecting on the local host.
