I have added some devices into a new map, and when I restart the server, my changes are gone. I have several maps already setup and they are still there. Anyone have any suggestions?

There is another user saying that when they add a new device type that change is not being saved.

Are you running as administrator and have you disabled UAC or are you even running windows? Is it w7 or 2k8?

I am running on a win2008 server. Here is what I have done as a work around. I was trying to bring up a copy of a new server, so I did an export from my old server and then imported to this one. Note I could not svae anything or get changes to save on the old one either. In lookig at my export, it was around 100mb of data in the export file. I had other exports that ranged from 4mb -130 mb, all done within the last month on the old server. I installed from scratch again on the new server and imported in one of the 4mb exports and now I am able to add and make changes , all of which are getting saved. I have done an export of the new server and it is only in the 4mb rnage for the file. Not sure why the epxort would be way up in size, but it does appear that has something to do with my issue. Once I get the new server up and going, I will then reinstall the dude from scratch on the old server and import my config from the new one over.

An update on this issue. I rebuilt the new box on v4b3 and ran into the same issue. I have rebuilt using v3.6 and so far all is wel..

this is also my issue. as I add network maps/device it is working fine. but as the reboot it is back to its original settings, and the changes that I add is gone. BTW, I am using The Dude 4.0 Beta 3.
