I was wondering if it was possible to monitor the DNS name instead of the IP of Mikrotiks.

I am starting to use the new cloud option with clients that have dynamic ips. I used the DNS name that was given in the IP of the device but it will not take a name.

Any ideas?

Ok I think I figured this out. Under DNS Lookup I used "name to address" and then used the DNS name and it seems to be working. I just need to wait until the ip changes to see if it really works.
