That's all fine and dandy, but removing the packages just because newer versions don't support it is pretty much killing the ability to use it at all for those who run versions that it does work on.
Would you please post the files back so we can download backup copies of them? I would rather run older ROS versions and have The Dude than run newer and do without.
I saw some threads about PPC routerboards no longer working with it. At what version did it break?
What about MIPS version, what is the last ROS we can run with it?
And for the person who scolded me for not hoarding copies of old software versions because we shouldn't expect the vendor to have them- We have all paid considerable amounts of money for the routerboards over the years, and
YES, some of us expect the vendor to maintain at least the latest copy of all software for download.
