Hi all, as per my title, how do I set up a log which will record when an interface goes down and comes back up?

I have the interface - to a modem - set up on the Dude, and I get a notification if it goes down (pinging Google's DNS) but I can't see how to record this activity to a log.

You should set up SYSLog server to solve this problem. MT supports this
also you can set up your syslog server by DUDE or MT syslog Deamon
