dude function blocks with timeout

Thu Mar 19, 2015 11:25 am

Hi, I have this strange problem with dude and functions. I use the ping function to monitor if my routers are responding and another function to test the ethernet ports. The ping function is working good but when it goes in timeout and then returns to ok my other function remains in timeout forever. The only way to unblock it is to disable and re-enable RouterOS on the General tab. Does anyone have any idea why is this happening and how we can solve it? Thanks

I have added some more functions in the services and to all of them I have the same problem. The functions are using ros_command() function and they are quite simple. But everytime the device goes in timeout and returns the other functions remain in timeout until I disable and re-enable manually routerOS in the devices's general tab.

Here is the function code:
Name: wireless_connections
Code: ros_command("[/interface wireless registration-table print count-only]")

and here the probe:
Type: Function
Available: wireless_connections()
Error: if(wireless_connections()<25, "","Problem")
Value: wireless_connections()

Has anyone else the same problem? We are running Dude4.0beta3 on windows. If you have any idea how to fix this please let me know!
