The Dude 4.0beta3 installed on local PC (Win 7). I start a Discovery for my subnet x.y.x.0/23, the scaning starts and the percentage scanned increases ..40%..50%..60%...seems to finish.. SPLOINK, a glimpse of a small pop up message, and then no results of the scan is shown, I crossed off [x] Layout Map after Discovery Complete, but nothing shows up

My first thought is that UAC is preventing the scan from finding any hosts. Try running The Dude as Administrator by right clicking, or create a shortcut and set Run As Administrator in the properties. The other option would be to disable UAC for the computer in the Windows Control Panel.
