I find that the Affinity Symbol Set by ecceman on Github to be a useful and attractive set of symbols and icons for Dude maps.

These are free 2D Symbol sets for computer network diagrams. You can use them in Viso / Draw.io and GNS3 too. Get them here. I am not affiliated with ecceman but enjoyed their work.
