IPTV Telefonica Vivo BR not connect multicast

Thu Sep 21, 2023 12:48 am

I've read several messages on this forum, I've seen several videos on the internet about configuring the IGMP Proxy. I performed the requested settings, but the IPTV Vivo connection does not work.

Through wireshark it indicates that it makes a request at 224.0.0.251, but this IP does not appear in the IGMP Proxy MFC.
The main problem is that the TV channels appear to be active for seconds and then drop, generating a GCN11 error, which indicates there is no connectivity. Looking at the forums, everything indicated that it was a multicast problem.

Although the Vivo router demonstrates 2 vLAN (10 Internet and 20 IPTV) the bridge mode output is made in access mode. For this reason there are no VLAN configurations.

The objective is to keep the Telefonica router in bridge mode, without losing the TV.
Thank you if you can help

My configuration is:
eth1-VIVO = PPPoE (Internet) and DHCP IPTV Client
brg-CASA= LAN network

Reason: elided PII; wrapped RouterOS CLI outputs in code tags
