I can see that the scheduler can only go down to executing a script every second.
How do I run my script every 0.25 or 0.2 seconds?

Use the brain: Simply configure 4 schedulet, each one that start inside with a delay of respectively 0, 0,25, 0,5 and 0,75 before call the script....I can see that the scheduler can only go down to executing a script every second.
