Hi,

I'm using a Zyxel pmg3000-d20b sfp module in my Mikrotik CRS309-1G-8S device. I noticed that the Mikrotik Switch handles the SFP different than one of my other non Mikrotik Switchs. In the other brand's device, I can access the SFP's webinterface even when the GPON-Fibre is not connected, the switch-port always activates, once the module is plugged in. On the Mikrotik Switch, the SFP ist detected and SFP's information is displayed in the respective Port, however it shows no link until the fibre is connected. Only then I'm able to access the SFP's Web-Interface.

Note: this GPON SFP comes with it's own OS and IP-stack, to configure the GPON-line-parameters. Is there an option that I have not yet discovered to force the port active in such a case?
