I have a CRS317-1G-16S+ that I was using in a VMware lab mostly for just vMotion and vSAN traffic. I'm now trying to test some other stuff in my lab and need to route the 10g ports. I only have the Unifi USW 48-port switch which only has 1GB ports.

Is it possible to utilize one of the 10GB ports as a trunked uplink to the Unifi switch? I was able to change SFP16 on the Mikrotik to 1GB and I have link lights but I then lost access to the management port. I'm not very familiar with Mikrotik and it worked great for just using it for L2 communication between my VMware hosts.

My network topology is ISP Router -> pfsense -> unifi switch -> Mikrotik

The Unifi switch is layer 2 as well, the pfsense handles all the routing between the various vlans I have been using for my VMware stuff.

I'm just hitting a wall trying to get the Mikrotik to do what I want it to.
