WiFi hAP ac lite

Mon Mar 11, 2024 1:37 pm

Hi all
On my motherboard RB952Ui-5ac2nD I see 3 connectors with 3 antennas. Can anyone tell me which antennas are responsible for what (reception / transmission / 2g / 5g).
Thanks in advance

Do I understand correctly that the antennas at connectors J702 and J703 are 2.4 GHz? Do the J700 connector and the ANT700 antenna belong to 5 GHz?
I want to connect an external antenna via the mini MS156 connector for a more stable connection at a frequency of 2.4 GHz

Ok. QCA9887 chip is wireless bands 5 GHz radio, is the J700 connector and the ANT700 antenna. QCA9531 chip is wireless bands 2.4 GHz radio, is at connectors J702 and J703. Question: i can combine 2 connectors 2.4 GHz radio in 1 antenna or does each connector need its own antenna? Thks

I would say 1 connector=1 antenna, AFAIK it is a 2x2 MIMO.
