Wireless configuratiions

Sun Sep 07, 2008 8:53 pm

I have some clients that get disconnected from the service and when they get disconnected for whatever reason , it always makes them login to the hotspot. I have tuned some of the settings in the hotspot and wireless, but is ther a way to make the wireless disconnect or hotspot disconnect timeout more so they dont have to login just cause they lost connection, same thing with pppoe , i see that it times out when the wireless connection drops for even a second or so, is ther a way to make it not drop unless its down for say 10 seconds.

Use login method cookies for HotSpot, set cookie lifetime 1 day.
User won't be asked for login/password for 1 day inactivity, you may increase timeout as well.
