Custom layers on Network Map

Sat Mar 24, 2012 1:54 am

I googled but found almost nothing about creating additional layers for a network map. The only 2 are links and dependencies and it doesnt seem to exist a button/setting that I can add.
Any ideas?

Thanks!

It is what it is. You're not finding it because it's not an option.

If you want to have a view of say a log file (on the bottom) and the Probe column (on one side) with the map in the middle try this...

Open the Panels contents, click +, name your pannel "StatsView" or something you like, click OK. Double click on your new panel, it should open in a new window, expand it till it is big enough to add parts to it. In the unknown drop down click on the top network map, in the grey bar click on the 4th icon so a new panel appears below the map.

In the unknown drop down on the new panel select action.log. click on the time column to sort by time.

In the grey bar click the 1st icon, this will put a panel to the right of the map.
In the unknown drop down on the new panel select Services...
