Can this System History show a Security issue ?

Mon Jan 11, 2016 2:24 pm

Hi,
I'm new to RouterOs, but I noticed that I could have made some mistakes on Firewall filter rules. I have already corrected them using those from Mikortik's wiki.
But when I saw the system history log, I got worried, because some entries did not have the user admin.
Below is the attached image from winbox:

Sorry for the noob question, but could this be a problem of some kind of invasion?

Probably some script run. Check the noted objects whether they are as you expected.

Thanks, jarda.

I could not notice anything wrong, but as I said, RouterOS is very new for me.

Does anyone knows a service that could test my router for vulnerabilities ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

RouterOS doesn't have any vulnerabilities that I know of.

I think the biggest vulnerability is the user making a mistake.

You could start to secure the router by heading into the ip --> services menu.

From there you could lock down the router pretty dam good by only providing access to services from specific ip subnets.

Good router security tips here.
The wiki has info as well.

The demo router has a basic setup.
