CSS326-24G-2S+RM and S-85DLC05D

Wed Mar 21, 2018 10:29 am

Hi,
CSS326-24G-2S+RM has an SFP+ port, I'd like to know if it's compatible with https://mikrotik.com/product/S-85DLC05D-180
It doesn't state anything on the SFP compatibility page https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/MikroTik ... lity_table apart from CSS326-24G-2S+RM - All SFP+ interfaces can be used in 1G mode if required.
If it's not compatible with S-85DLC05D-180 I'd like to know which DUAL LC multimode SPF+ module is compatible with CSS326-24G-2S+RM

Edit:
There's this text: SFP cage supports both 1.25 Gb SFP and 10 Gb SFP+ modules on the https://mikrotik.com/product/CSS326-24G-2SplusRM. So does that mean that it'll work and it's just missing an entry on the SFP compatibility page?

Thank you!

Yes! it is compatible with both.

in software you can also determine it by default interface names:

"sfp-sfpplus1" support both, "sfpplus1" is only SFP+ and "sfp1" is regular SFP.

as far as i can remember only CCR1016 had 10G only SFP+ port, other MikroTik devices usually support both speeds
